Cuttagee Lake – South Coast NSW

About 10 minutes’ drive south of Bermagui, is Cuttagee Lake. It’s located beneath the single lane bridge on the Tathra Bermagui Road. It’s a beautiful beach, great for swimming and fishing.


 

Where is Cuttagee Lake? 10 minutes south of Bermagui along the Tathra Bermagui Road. You can’t miss it.

Where to fish at Cuttagee Lake – The mouth of the river is a great start. Particularly with the change of tides, usually from 4.30pm and 9pm during the summer months.

The incoming tides brings in plentiful bream, tailor, luderick, trevally and salmon.

On the left hand side, facing the lake from Cuttagee beach, there is great opportunities along the weedy areas of the lake, luderick is the fish of choice. Flathead, whiting bream is more dominate through the channels.

Later at night there is great opportunities for pawn and bait fishing.
