Boydtown Beach

Boydtown Beach – Near Eden NSW

Founded by Benjamin Boyd in 1843, Boytown was the original settlement of Two Fold Bay. The beach is located around the mouth of the Nullica River, about 10 minutes south of Eden. The historic beachfront Seahorse Inn built by Boyd in the 1840s has been restored and is now a hotel. In addition there are two beachfront caravan parks.


 

Where is Boydtown Beach?
About 10 minutes south of Eden, drive along the Princess highway and it’s just over the Nullica River.

Swimming Experience
Great family beach. Mostly low tides, and free of any strong rips.

Fishing at Boydtown Beacharound mouth of Nullica River is traditionally the best spot. Bream and flathead are the dominate species. The rocks of Torarago Point is good for snapper.

Picnic
Not far from town, and located next to a caravan park and car park.
