The water falls from a natural rock slide into a deep pool of water. The river, the falls and the surrounding areas can be observed from a viewing platform but for the young the water slide and pool are just fine. If you intend to slide down the water chute please take care.
A lovely little, low key picnic place in the bush, with a well-made boardwalk to reach the falls via a short walk. The falls themselves are pretty tiny but have wonderful granite basins for swimming and you can use the falls as a waterslide down which you rush and plunge into the amazingly deep, cool pool at their base
