Bega Golf Course – South Coast NSW
It’s a pretty straight forward course, surrounded by farm paddocks, just a few kilometres out of town. Bega Golf Course is the perfect setting for a leisurely round of golf. Not very challenging for the serious golfer. Tends to be more popular with the locals then the tourist, who are more inclined to flock to the more high profile courses of Narooma and Tura Beach.

The Golfing Experience – The front nine is fairly straightforward, with the 373m uphill par 4 8th being the toughest. The front 9 holes are fairly straight up and down, with the back 9 having a few more hills and some nice curves and doglegs.
There is only a handful of bunkers on the course and generally there is no excuse to not get up and down around the greens. The reachable par 5’s and a few short par 4’s at Bega are well complimented by the lengthy par 3’s in which 4 out of 5 sit over 170m. The course maintenance at Bega is top rate for a country course and a round here is well worth it if travelling on the NSW south coast. $20 for 18 holes.
