Armands Beach (Armonds Beach) – Sapphire Coast NSW
Nude beaches on the Sapphire Coast are scarce. Although let’s face it, most beaches are so secluded, no one will be the wiser. This beach however is a gem. Armands Bay is named after local resident Armand Lemaire, a naturist who loved playing nude cricket on the beach.
Where is Armands Beach? – About 10 kms south of Bermagui. Drive along the Tathra Bermagui Road – About 3 minutes past Cuttagee Beach you’ll come to Kularoo Rd. Turn left and follow the signs . There is a car park, with a 1 kms walk to the beautiful beach
Swimming – A perfect swimming beach. It’s a small bay surrounded by Australian bushland. Waves are rarely above one metre, so not ideal for surfers.
Fishing – Fishing at Armands Bay would be great. However, the local fishermen are all too shy to fish in the nude.
Picnic – Again if nudity is your thing then this is the ideal place for a picnic. There is a car park but no amenities.
