Mills Beach (Sapphire Coast) – Near Bermagui NSW
Mill Beach is a small beautiful enclosed beach located at the southern end of Cuttagee Beach. Hidden behind Baragga Point, Mills Beach was an old staging ground for loading timber on nearby ships.
Where is Mills Beach? – Where is Mils Beach? The southern end of Cuttagee Beach, about 10 minutes’ drive from Bermagui. You’ll find a steep track near the picnic table on Cuttagee Beach road.
Swimming at Mills Beach – A little rocky in parts, however well protected from strong currents and large rips. This is due to rock ledges and break waters that continue out towards the ocean. Great for snorkelling and diving.
Fishing at Mills Beach – The nearby rock ledges make a great launching pad. Small fish such as flathead, bream and garfish are plentiful. Look for the deep water passage on the north side of the beach. Dusk and dawn are always the best times
Picnic – Carpark and small BBQ’s are nearby.
