Quondolo Beach – Ben Boyd National Park, South Coast NSW
A strong sense of isolation, remoteness and natural beauty awaits those who visit Quondolo beach at Ben Boyd National Park. The beach is about 1 kilometre long and forms the middle part of the area known as Long Beach, which in total is 7k’s long. Long beach is between, Haycock Point to the north and Terrace Point to the South. A gem of a beach!
Where is Quondolo Beach?
Accessible from the Haycock Point road with vehicle tracks leading to car parks above the Pambula River mouth: at Haycock Point and Long Beach; at Quondolo Point; and the Quoraburagun Pinnacles.
Swimming Experience
Quondolo beach, and is unpatrolled. Can be difficult rips abound, so always swim with others. Best area for swimming is Pinnacles Point next beach to the south. One of the great spots for surfing throughout the national park.
Fishing at Quondolo Beach
Good access at northern end for the beach, fishing in gutters and off the northern and central rocks. Good for surf fishing, and great reef fishing next to the rocks. Snapper, leather jackets, tailor are plentiful.
