Tilba on the Saphire Coast NSW
Central Tilba is the historic town of the Sapphire Coast, and is known as the makers of arguably the best cheese in the world. When visiting bring some extra cash to purchase cheese from the ABC Cheese Factory, for yourself and friends back home. You won’t be disappointed.
Tilba Tilba is the original name of the district, and is said to be a Thawa Aboriginal term for “many waters”. The entire village is classified by the National Trust as the Central Tilba Conservation Area, and is located 60 kilometres north of Bega and 10 kilometres south west of Narooma.
