Dog Beaches on the Sapphire Coast NSW

As much as we love our dogs, they can pose issues when left off a leash. Due to their nature many dogs can attack our loved native animals and can cause havoc.


Bermagui

Haywards Beach – South of Camel Rock entrance and ending near the Wallaga Lake Rd /Old Tilba Rd entrance.

Beares Beach South – South of the rocks to the headland at the southern end of the beach.
All areas are signposted.

Dogs Prohibited all year round. The Blue Pools, Bruce Steer Pools and all patrolled bathing areas.


 

Eden

Asling Beach – from the Curalo Lagoon entrance south of the skate park.

Keith’s Pinch Beach – Vehicle access by the dirt track off Quarantine Bay Rd.

Cocora Beach – dogs are prohibited when lifeguards are in attendance.


Merimbula

Merimbula Beach – dogs are prohibited 100 meters from patrolled areas. At other times dogs are allowed on the beach with a leash.

South Point Beach – dogs are prohibited 100 metres from patrolled areas. At other times dogs are allowed on the beach with a leash.


Pambula

Lions Park Beach – allowed on the beach north of the entrance track to the rocky headland.

Pambula Beach – 100 metres from the patrolled areas.

South Point Beach – dogs are prohibited 100 metres from patrolled areas. At other times dogs are allowed on the beach with a leash.


Tathra

Tathra Beach south of the Tathra Country Club

Mogareeka Inlet is Ok from the 1st of May to the 31st of September


Tura Beach 

Tura Beach – On the beach between the end of Tura Beach Drive and an access road next to 162 Pacific Drive. The access from the end of Tura Beach Drive is the easiest access.
