Hidden Valley

Hidden Valley – Sapphire Coast NSW

A hidden gem on the Sapphire Coast. As the namesake suggest it’s a hidden beach just south of Bunga Beach South. Protected by surrounding cliffs, Hidden Beach is an ideal spot for a secluded swim with the rugged yet beautiful Australian bush as a back drop.

Where is Hidden Valley Beach? – From the Bunga Beach South car park at the end of Hergenhans Road. Just look for the track just behind Bunga Beach South beach.

Swimming – The most perfect swimming location. Nestled between the headlands, Hidden Valley Beach is protected from the south and north winds and feels extremely private. It’s important not to swim alone, due to it seclusion, beach patrols are hours away.

Fishing – A secluded beach with great fishing. Bream, flathead, salmon, mulloway and gummy sharks are the dominate species. Best place is around the mouth of the creek around dusk.

Picnic – There’s a large flat grass area about a kilometre away along the headland. There’s a wood BBQ area which makes an ideal spot for a picnic.
