Baragoot Beach – Sapphire Coast NSW

Located between Baragoot Lake and Cuttagee Beach, approx. 3 kms south of Bemraghii is Baragoot beach.


 

How to get to Baragoot Beach? – About 5 kilometres south of Bermagui, travel along he Tathra Bermagui Road, and just over the Cuttagee Beach bridge. A car park next to the bridge will take you a small board walk and picnic area.

Swimming – Strong rips can make the area rather dangerous. However usually is a good swimming beach. Great for surfing. Further up the road is Cuttagee Beach which is ideal for families with small children.

Fishing – Great for fishing, bream, mulloway, salmon and flathead are the dominate species. Best area is up towards Cuttagee Lake. Best time is around dusk.

Picnic – Small carpark, pit toilets. Ok for picnic.
