Pambula is a small holiday town on the south coast of NSW. It’s blessed with numerous estuaries, river systems, lagoons, and surf beaches, which make it the perfect fishing destination


 

Fishing Locations around Pambula

A) The mouth of the Pambula River is good for flathead, tailor, bream and whiting. Best times are at the change of tides, after 6pm during the summer months.

B) Pambula Lake is good for bream and whiting. The best spot is around Tee Tree Point, and shallow banks on the flood tide, with the shallow areas around Mangrove Island. There is a launching place at landing rd.

C) Haycock Point is a good for spot for rock fishing, with plentiful supplies of snapper, mulloway, salmon, and tailor.

D) Hunters Rock about 1km north of Haycock Point is good for offshore fishing.
