Games Bay

Games Bay – Sapphire Coast NSW

South of White Rock along the Kangarutha Walking Track, this is a small rocky inlet. Not great for beach swimming however it does offer great opportunities for snorkelling and diving.

Where is Games Bay? – South end of the Bournda National Park. End of White Rock Road, which comes off Tathra Road about a kilometre out of Tathra.

Swimming – Games Bay is not a great swimming beach, however is ideal for snorkelling. Follow the creek bed for and head towards the ocean, once there you’ll suddenly find a deep protected bay full of aquatic life.

Fishing – bream, flathead, mullaway, and salmon are frequent. Bring a floater as there is little sand cover. Best time is the change of tides early in the morning.

No Amenities – not ideal for picnics with the kids or elderly.
