Festivals at Narooma

Narooma Blues Festival – (Great Southern Blues Festival) First weekend of October  This amazing blues and roots festival always lives up to its promise of supplying a great weekend for music lovers. You don’t have to be a diehard Blues fan, as there is an arrangement of rockabilly, soul, rock and rhythm and jazz features.

Narooma Oyster Festival – First weekend of May each year.  Highlights the areas abundant and delicious Sydney Rock Oysters, regarded as one of the most delicious oysters in the world. Throw in Australia’s best cheeses from Tilba,  a large assortment of Petaluma wines and amazing music, you certainly have one hell of a festival.

The Tilba Festival – Over Easter each year. This amazing little town, (30 mins drive from Narooma) showcases their local produce with food stalls along the main street. This accompanied with face painting, street performers and great music acts makes it the place to be when Easter comes around. Taste the best cheeses in the world.

Narooma Boats Afloat Festival – First weekend of November. Held on and around the pristine waters of Wagonga Inlet, the Boats Afloat Festival showcases traditional boats from clinkers to luxury cruisers and superb yachts.

Four Winds Festival – Every second Easter.  Nature’s Concert Hall at Barragga Bay, NSW (30 minutes drive from Narooma). Four Winds is showcases classic, cultural and world music held every second Easter in the very beautiful Four Winds outdoor ampitheatre, Nature’s Concert Hall, nine kilometres south of Bermagui, on the far south coast of New South Wales.
