Bermagui Harbour – South Coast NSW
Bermagui is synonymous with fishing, both commercial and recreational. As such the harbour and associated wharf is a well-established construction with 100’s of boats and numerous fishing enterprises. Despite all the development the harbour itself does offer great opportunities for fishing for young and old.

Where to fish at Bermagui Harbour? The entrance to the harbour gives the best opportunities. There is a well-established breakwater, which offers great launching pads.
On the other side of the harbour moving towards Moorehead Beach is also a good spot for snapper. Best time is always at high tide.
What to catch? Bream, Flathead. Luderick, rock blackfish, snapper, tailor and whiting
