Barragga Bay

Barragga Bay – Sapphire Coast NSW

A small holiday village about 5 kiometres south of Bermagui. Access is via Amaroo Place or Burrawong Place. Barragga Bay is a secluded beach and is one of the gems on the South Coast.


 

Where is Barragga Bay? 5 kilometres south of Bermagui on the Bermagui Tathra Road. Look for Kullaroo Road turn off

Swimming – The beach is about 250 metres in width, with volcanic rock ledges. It is sheltered from the wind and creates an ideal swimming experience. Rock pools along the beach is great for snorkelling

Fishing – The rock ledges at both the ends offer a handy platform for fishermen. A small creek flowing into the northern corner is also a good place to start. The beach is isolated however relatively close the the carpark.

Picnic – No amenities however is located close to the carpark.
