Tathra is home to the most beautiful beaches on the Sapphire Coast and probably all of NSW. It’s beaches are blessed with pristine waters, superb views and easy access for one and all.

Beaches in and around Tathra NSW
Tathra Beach – The town’s main beach. Located a short distance from town. Patrolled in summer. Amenities – picnic area, BBQ, children’s playground, public toilets, cafes and boat ramp.
Bournda Beach – Located in the Bournda National Park – 10 minutes’ drive south of Tathra, on the Bournda Rd which is off the Sapphire Coast rd. Amenities – Pit toilet, and picnic tables.
Boulder Bay – Accessible from the Kangarutha Walking Track, along the Bournda National Park coast line. Amazing scenery, although not great for swimming. No Amenities.
Games Bay – South of White Rock along the Kangarutha Walking Track, this is a small rocky inlet. Not great for swimming however fantastic vews – No Amenities.
North Tura Beach – at the southern point of Bournda National Park, next to Tura Beach township. A beautiful beach for both swimming and fishing. Amenities – BBQ, picnic area, toilets.
Kianimmy Bay – Located1.5 kms south of Tathra head. It’s the main boat launching ramp in Tathra. Not suitable for swimming. Amenities – large car park, picnic and toilet area.
Wallagoot Beach – Enclosing Wallagoot Lake and located at the front of the Hobart Beach camping group, this beach is one of the most scenic along the Sapphire Coast. Amenities – BBQ, Picnic, Toilets and car park.
